It's amazing what we can learn from our children. I often get carried away in the excitement and rush through things instead of taking the time to enjoy them (especially with a good meal.)
Current score: 0 (to vote for this comment, please visit the site)

Duane,
I am feeling what you are talking about. I recently became a Reiki practitioner and it has really changed who I am. I now have slowed down and have time to smell the flowers and admire life's pleasures. Before, I was just consumed with me, me, me. I always thought I was doing things for other people but in reality...I just wanted to have time for myself. Now, letting go of me (the ego) ... I see the world as a whole different place. I thank my Reiki Master Teacher for sharing the gift of Reiki with me. As I have traveled the Reiki path for the last month...offering a session to people, I find that many people aren't aware of what Reiki is and are stand offish. Any suggestions to open the minds of people that haven't got a clue as to what they are missing. Is there any way to describe Reiki to people to make someone want to have a session? But I must say that it is a wonderful space to be in, whether receiving Reiki or being the cooper wire for the person receiving the energy. Thanks ~ Jason
Current score: 2 (to vote for this comment, please visit the site)
